A’A (Ahupuaa Adventures) is Ke Ola Hou’s outdoor based camping and adventure
programs. A’A is an opportunity to pass down traditional knowledge and lessons of
sustainability and malama via the Ahupuaa. The Ahupuaa is more than just a land
boundary definition, but a way of living that perpetuates sustainability and the proper care
of our lands resources.
The Ahupua’a provides many lessons on responsibility, stewardship and environmental
protection that need to be passed down to our keiki. It not only provides teaching how to
properly steward the beautiful environment in which we live in, but also provides lessons
on the importance of taking responsibility and care of ourselves and those around us.
Learning to live pono with our land, ourselves and with others- this is true sustainability.
